Meet Our Teaching Team

At Ananda Lifestyle, our teaching team is as diverse and unique as the community we serve. We come from different walks of life, backgrounds, and experiences — but we’re all united by a shared passion for wellbeing, movement, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome.

Whether you're stepping into the studio for the first time or have been practising for years, you'll be greeted with open arms, kind hearts, and a supportive environment. We’re here to meet you where you are, and help you feel at home.

Hi, I’m Andi originally from Hungary, now living locally with my two wonderful children. I've been teaching yoga for over 10 years, and my journey began with hot yoga, where I fell in love with the powerful connection between breath, movement, and inner stillness.

To deepen my practice and understanding, I later completed advanced teacher training at the Mandala Yoga Ashram, focusing on meditation, breathwork, and classical asana. While I honour the traditional roots of yoga, I’m especially passionate about building strength, stamina, and mobility because I believe yoga can and should support us in living active, joyful, and resilient lives.

For me, true health is holistic. It’s not just about moving your body, it’s about sleeping well, eating well, having a sense of purpose, and being part of a supportive community. That’s the kind of space I aim to create: one where people can grow, feel strong, and belong.

I’m so grateful to share this journey with you - welcome to the mat.

Hi, I'm Chriselle, a dedicated senior yoga teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience both nationally and internationally. I have 15 years of personal yoga practice. Trained with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) in the traditional Hatha style, Chriselle brings a profound understanding of yoga's foundational principles to my classes.

In addition to Hatha, I teach the dynamic Ashtanga method, providing my students with a disciplined approach to movement and breath. I also incorporates meditation techniques specifically designed to calm the nervous system, creating a peaceful mind space for her students. My expertise extends to Yin and Restorative yoga, where I encourage deep relaxation and healing through gentle stretching and mindful poses.

As part of my MSc in Psychology and Wellbeing, I studied and trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) practices tailored for neurodivergent women seeking peace and calm amid a scattered mind. This specialized knowledge enhances my holistic approach, allowing me to create a supportive environment for all.

Passionate about sound healing, I often integrate this transformative practice into my sessions. My focus is on alleviating mind chatter and soothing the nervous system, guiding my students back to a state of balance and calm.

Hi, I'm Jack. I’ve spent over 17 years in the fitness industry, with the past 7 devoted to teaching yoga. My journey began with a deep passion for sport and movement, which naturally led me to a career in personal training. I specialised in functional strength training, working in gyms and bouldering environments, always focused on building real-world strength and capability.

After a decade of coaching and personal training, I took a leap and completed a Yoga Teacher Training in Modified Ashtanga. It flipped everything I knew about movement on its head. Yoga challenged my body and rewired my mindset — and in doing so, it unlocked goals I’d been chasing for years, including lifting to handstand with control and confidence.

Since then, I’ve had the joy of opening my own bespoke yoga and Pilates studio here in the UK, as well as teaching and travelling across the Caribbean, USA, and Europe — soaking up the sun, sea, and the beautiful variety of human movement along the way.

My teaching blends strength, mobility, and mindfulness. Drawing on years of 1-to-1 coaching and group instruction with people of all ages and abilities, my classes are inclusive, challenging, and supportive. I will push you to grow — safely, with structure, and a sense of fun.

I pride myself on seeing your potential long before you can. I believe in you — and my goal is to help you believe in yourself too.

Hi, I’m Mela, a nature-loving movement teacher and wellness coach with over 20 years of experience supporting people to reconnect with themselves through the body.

My approach blends somatic movement, therapeutic yoga, breath, and sound — always meeting you where you are, without performance or pressure. I combine science with the sacred, creating spaces where curiosity, compassion, and care can unfold.

I’ve taught in the UK and internationally, across gyms, retreats, grassroots spaces, and community groups, working with people of all ages and backgrounds. My work is rooted in the belief that every body deserves to feel safe, seen, and at home within itself.
